We get upset when people aren’t nice to us. And yet what kinds of things do we say to ourselves? When you make a mistake, do you tell yourself you’re stupid or call yourself names? Are you your own worst enemy? You don’t have to be. Maybe it’s an old habit. You can choose a new one. You can choose to be kind to you. You are worthy of kindness.
Your very presence is a blessing to the world. Do you acknowledge yourself? Do you speak kindly to you? If not, please consider it. Have you told yourself you are amazing today? Have you told yourself you are beautiful?
You really are amazing and beautiful—just like a flower is amazing and beautiful even if it has a wilted petal. You really are a blessing—just like the sun in the sky. Acknowledge how you shine in the world. You do it in many ways every day. ☀️
